Have you ever declared war on a corp? After waiting 48 long hours after your initial decision to declare, you might get a few lucky kills, and then everyone docks up for the rest of the week. The "preparation" time is just gathering enough magazines and ramen noodles to weather the storm outside the stations.

The fact is, even with 24 hours of preparation, most corps don't do anything except tell their members to stay docked. We want more of an ambush! :P

Grammatical errors notwithstanding, 24 hours is too long to wait. 8 hours can be perhaps too soon. I agree with Bloody on 12-15.
